HunnySkiins Body Butters Review 1: Unicorn Dreams and Cotton Candy Clouds

As much as I try to stay off of social media, I too have fallen victim to TikTok. That's where I found my latest obsession: Body Butter. If you're not familiar with body butters, they are pretty much a very thick body lotion. Made from cocoa butter, and shea butter, they are perfect for the winter season or dry skin. Body butters go a long way, so you don't need to use much.

One last thing: They are insanely pretty. And I love pretty things. 

Unicorn Dreams

Scent Description: "Smells like heaven with notes of sweet sugar, spun cotton candies, berries and bubblegum"

Personally, I really liked this scent! I had no idea what Unicorn Dreams smell like so I was intrigued. I think the sweet/candy description is pretty accurate, but I want to add that this is a tart scent especially right after application. I think it is the berry notes that gives it that tartness.

I would describe the initial scent as Sweet Tarts. The name "Unicorn Dreams" is very accurate. It is artificially sweet, but it dries down into a softer (but still tart) sugary scent. I like the soft dry down more than how it smells in the jar.

The body butter also looks insanely pretty! I am such a sucker for cute skin care. I'll give this an 8/10 just because I am not the biggest fan of tart scents, but I know people who would give this a 10/10!

Cotton Candy Clouds

Scent Description: "Scented with sweet pink berries, whipped vanilla and spun sugar"

I really liked Unicorn Dreams, but I LOVEDDD Cotton Candy Clouds! In fact, I immediately decided I wanted another jar of it and ended up accidentally purchasing a similar item from the wrong shop.... But anyways, this scent is exactly my type. It is a much softer type of "sweet" than Unicorn Dreams. It is not tart and not very artificial at all. It smells like baby blue, fluffy, sugary clouds. 

I showed this scent to my boyfriend, and he loved it as well! It says a lot because he is usually not into fragrance. Cotton Candy Clouds should be great for you if you like sweet scents, but you're not into heavily fragranced products. 

This is an easy 10/10 for me!

Formula, HunnySkiins Shop, and Last Thoughts

These were not my first body butters, but they are my absolute favorite so far. The formula is soft for a body butter and not very greasy. The containers are made of thick glass, and have cute, pastel labels. The items came packaged really well with some stickers as extras. I was not planning on reviewing these items so I did not get a photo unfortunately. 

I actually reached out to the owner via Instagram with a question, and they responded very quickly. The owner was so so sweet too, which for me is a little reminder why it is so important to support small businesses. It seems that the shop is fairly new so I am looking forward to new releases and scents. I would love if there was some sort of body spray (or even better: a SHIMMER spray!) to go with Cotton Candy Clouds. 

The shop also currently has body scrubs and body oils, but I have not tried these yet. As for repurchases, I will not be repurchasing Unicorn Dreams for myself, but I would buy this as a gift for someone else. Unsurprisingly, I will be repurchasing Cotton Candy Clouds as soon as my jar is low.
